Visual art as a mode of self-expression has always been part of Peterborough native Jane Hall's life. She works primarily with an assortment of pallet knives and brushes to apply thick, lush oil
paints to the canvas. Jane works from photographs and outside locations to produce landscapes that invite the viewer enter them, to smell the trees and hear the moving water, to feel the wind
brushing against their face, to return to moments of beauty and tranquility.
